Our mission is to create a vibrant community space where Art & Learning opportunities foster creativity. Since 2006, we have endeavored to support local artists’ in creating and promoting new work through a coöperative gallery. In 2011 we began a collaboration with the Kohala Community Learning Center. This partnership has allowed us to fulfill our original mission to bring excellent educational opportunities to the residents of Kohala. Classes and workshops offered explore a wide array of topics, from textile arts to human anatomy to beachcombing.
Located in a restored homestead, with old plantation-era implements and gardens, Kenji’s evokes a quieter time. We hope you will find something to interest you, whether it’s an community Art show, a class, or simply a lovely walk up the drive while waiting for your lunch at Gill’s Lanai.
